Summer Learning Journey - Day 5 - Activity 1 - Week 4

Every year we celebrate we celebrate the World Environment Day in June. On World Environment Day we do what we can to protect our planet. This year the focus is on reducing the use of plastic bags and water bottles. What could you and your family do to protect the planet? On your blog tell us three things that you could do to help save the planet. For this task I was to follow the instructions above.
  1. Pick up rubbish around our local area.
  2. Grow more gardens.
  3. Create a World Environment Group.

    I really love the 3 things we could do to save the planet. You have nearly come to the end of the SLJ. You are very Outstanding like the rest of the people who did the SLJ.

    Hi Mele,
    I like your ideas on how could save the planet, picking up rubbish and planting more gardens sound pretty easy but creating a world environment group would be pretty hard. Do you think we could also help save the planet by planting trees?

    Tell me more about your idea for a World Environment Group! What would it involve? It sounds really interesting. It may be one way of getting the world clean!

    Growing gardens is also a really good idea - less space for rubbish and healthy, too.

    I am Vitaraag. You have listed some very helpful things to do to protect the planet. My favourite one was grow gardens. Do you actually want to grow a garden. Maybe next time you can say how these things help the planet stay clean and healthy. Do you want to protect the planet? Keep up the phenomenal work!
