Summer Learning Journey - Activity 3 - Week 1

Let’s imagine that you are given a cactus for your birthday. To keep it alive, you must give it 3 ml of water every day.
Over one full year, how much water will you need to give your cactus plant?
On your blog, tell us how to solve this maths problem. You can write your answer in words, use a Sketchpad image, or post a video explaining how you would figure it out. Be sure to give us your final answer in millilitres (ml).

The answer is 1095, because since it says give 3 ml of water every day I deicded to times 365 days x 3 ml every day which equals to 1095 ml.

Maths:
365 x 3 = 1095
365 days in a year
3 ml each day

  1. Hello Mele! This activity was very easy but actually needed research to complete which I liked. I like how you showed your answer in a very simple and understanding way for why it was 365 x 3. I hope you can keep posting more of your comments now, keep it up!
