Number Stones

Today we are learning how to read before and after numbers to 100 000, To order unit fractions from smallest to biggest. 

How to play number stones: On your turn you have to tell the person that is reading how many stones you want to place then the reader will give you a number to solve and if you get it right you place your number stones on the board. What I need to improve on is learning my 5 digit numbers. But the thing that was difficult for me was trying to get my partner out on number stones.

Number stones

 We have been learning before and after numbers for 1000. In the number stones game  if a stone is in the middle and 4 stones a surrounded by the 1 stone then they are out.Today Myself, Aiden and Aung Naing Played number stones. Aiden and Aung Naing were challenging each other each while I was the person talking to them about the after and before numbers. When I told Aung naing what comes before 488 he put three stones on the paper. As I asked Aiden a question he added in three more stones and got Aung Niang but Aung Naing catched up to him. Unfortunately Aung Naing Won. The points was 9 to Aiden and 10 to Aung Naing.
