Summer Learning Journey Day 3 Activity 2 Week Two

1. We could all make Ideas to find out how to make
clothes and food for others and let people agree.
2. Make a box to put $10 in every week and then at the end of the year we can open it
up and see how much we got.
3. Every Christmas we should at least give gifts to the people who need it most.
Today for this activity I had to give 3 tips to find out how to donate food and clothes to those who need it most.

  1. Hi Mele

It's Allie again from the SLJ team.

You have come up with some really great ideas for fundraising money to give to people in need.
Making clothes and growing your own vegetables to give to people who need them or you could sell them to make money and then give the money to those who need it. Either way this is a great idea. Its a great feeling to be able to help people who need it.
Saving money each week if you are able to it another great idea. Not everyone finds this easy but its great if you can do it. Its amazing how quickly it adds up if you don't touch it for a while.
And giving gifts at Christmas time is a wonderful idea. Especially to children who have families that are in need. Great idea Mele. You sound like a very kind person. And I am sure you would always help people if you could.

Well done Mele you have come up with some awesome ideas.

    Keep blogging!

    Until next time

    Allie :)

  2. Hello Mele
Well done on finishing this summer learning journey activity. Your ideas about fundraising are great - you were really creative in making them. Keep up the superb work Mele.

  3. Hi Mele
Great job on completing this activity, I like how you also said that we should make a box and put $10 in it every week, that would mean that they'd have $520 at the end of the year because they're 52 weeks in a year. I have a question for you though, what would you spend the money on at the end of the year?
