  1. Hi Mele,

I am so happy to read that you enjoyed doing some research about London, England and then posting your results on your blog. I also really enjoy researching and writing. In fact, I work full-time as a researcher at the University of Auckland. It's a great job!

From your research-related post I can see that most Londoners speak English and that London is located in the centre of the country. I am not entirely clear on how many people live in London, however, as part of your answer for #2 is missing. Could you please pop back online and edit your answer when you have a minute?

Could you also please let us know where you found these great facts? I have been taught that it's a good idea to insert a link to the websites that I use to find information. They are called our 'sources.'

I'll pop back soon to see if you've had time to finish sentence #2 and to insert your sources for the information about London.

Thanks, Mele. See you online again soon!

    Cheers,
    Rachel :)

  2. Hi Mele,

I'm glad that you had fun on your fact hunting mission. I love learning about new and exciting places. Especially if I've never been there before!

London is a very old city in England, did you know it was built in the year 43AD? It's almost 2000 years old! I think you might be missing one or two extra numbers on the current population though, it's a wee bit bigger than 261. When you have a chance you can fix that up, it won't take long.

What would you like to learn about England on your SLJ Mele? Hopefully the Queen can answer all your questions about their country when you see her on your visit :-)

    Naku noa,
    Dan.
