In the 1970s one of the most common television programmes was called ‘Ready to Roll.’ It was broadcast on Saturday afternoons and hosted by a man named Roger Gascoigne. During the show, Roger would introduce music videos and then play them for the TV audience. He also invited famous people to come onto the show and perform songs that were currently popular.
For this task I had to
Watch the following three clips that were shown on the Ready to Roll programme:
After that I had to rank the clips in order from your most favourite (#1) to your least favourite (#3). Post your rankings on your blog.
1- Golden Harvest
2- New Zealand Underdogs
3- Ray Columbus and the Invaders
Kia ora Mele,
ReplyDeleteIt's wonderful that you have already finish the program!
For this post you are required to check these musical clips and rank in order of preference. I can't believe you liked the Golden Harvest most! I think I know why, it's because of the silver pants right?! :0)
My personal favourite is the New Zealand underdogs because I found that they had so much energy during the entire clip, and also really like their hair styles. :D
For the future, when written an opinion post consider to add the video of the clip you are ranking, as this would visually support you text an make your post eye-catching. Great job!
Kia kaha,
Patricia
Hi Mele
ReplyDeleteWell done on finishing this summer learning journey activity. To be fair to all of the music videos, they are all pretty good and each have something good about them. Keep up the amazing work.
Daniel
Hi Mele
ReplyDeleteGreat job on completing this activity, I like how you added in the links too. I have a question though, how do you think children from back then felt when they listened to the music?
