Summer Learning Journey Activity 2 Day 2 Week Four

In 2015, a kiwi golfer named Lydia Ko became the youngest woman in the world to reach the #1 ranking.  She was only 17 years old. Many people from here in New Zealand and overseas really admire her and think of her as a modern-day sporting hero. Who is your sporting hero? They can be a famous athlete, or even a member of your family or community. It’s completely up to you.

This is what I had to do: On your blog tell us about your sporting hero. Who are they? Why are they a hero? Include a photo of them in your blog post. Here is my answer:
My sporting hero would be Jason Tamulolo. Jason Tamulolo is a formal Sydney Cowboy player who plays Rugby League. He is full Tongan and comes from Vava'u ( Village in Tonga). Jason Tamulolo was only 24 years old. He is my hero because it claims that I am as strong as him and also he represents my country. He is in my favorite rugby team and also me and him has the same skills done like bumping off. Image result for Jason Taumalolo

  1. Hi Mele
Great job on finishing this summer learning journey activity. I watched a video of Jason Taumalolo that your brother put up on his blog and he was amazing. He looked to be one of the best players on that field. Keep up the amazing work Mele!

  2. Hi Mele
Great job on completing this activity, I like how you explained why he's your sporting hero so well. I have a question though, does anyone else in your family consider him as their idol?
