Summer Learning Journey Activity 15 Bonus Activity Week One

This week for this task I had to read a lot about Bill Kini. Bill Kini was a heavyweight boxer. He won a gold medal at the 1966 Commonwealth games for being the best heavyweight boxer. I had to write 4 questions to ask Bill Kini.
Q1: Was it easy facing bigger people than you?
Q2: Who was your biggest focus?
Q3: Who was your coach?
Q4: How much test have you lost?

  1. Mālō e lelei Mele,
I think the answer for your first question would be absolutely no. I think it would be very hard facing someone bigger than him. :)
    Your complete the task well.
For the future I want you to consider to pose open-ended questions that would encourage a more explanatory answer rather than yes or no. You can imagine yourself as a journalist, if you want to get to know someone that you are interviewing it's important that you prompt and encourage the person to formulate answers that will give you lots of information and a real insight into the person's life, such as: Could you tell when and how you decide to become a boxer? This type of question would require a long and complex answer.
    Good job!

  2. Hi Mele
Great job on completing this summer learning journey activity. The questions that you would ask Bill Kini are great. My favorite questions was the first one. Bill might have had to fight people that were much bigger than him. Keep up the amazing work.

  3. Hi Mele
Great job on writing your questions, I like how you also asked about how he felt when he saw people who were bigger than him. I have a question for you though, if you were him how would you respond?
