Summer Learning Journey Activity 11 Week One

Today I did another activity. For this task I had to choose one of the Maori games and tell the name of it, the goal for the person to do, and two rules. The game that I found out was Poi Toa Tag. I decided to do this game because it was easier to listen to the video and see the materials that they need to play this game. I had to find out if it was a cool game for me or if it wasn't. The goal for this game is to try eliminate everybody out, to play you would need to get a poi, and in this game you need to try and hit everybody else poi to get them out.

  2. Hi Mele,
My name is Patricia Santos and I'm one of the people who will be blogging with you for the Summer Learning Journey.
The game you chosen seems fun and I would like to try it!
When you explain the reason why you chose this game you specifically mention that it was because it was easy. Have you thought about that instead of using the word easy you could say that it was because you found a video that show how to play it in a clear and simple way.
A good rule to use to develop your written skills is to review your draft ans ask yourself the question: How can I say the same thing using different and more interesting descriptive words? Can I re-write this differently? Also I found that a peer-feedback before publish can be very helpful.
Furthermore, to make your post more interesting consider to add a picture or a video of the game.
    Keep up the good work!
    Kia Kaha,
    Patricia

Great job on completing this activity, I like how you gave an explanation for what you have to do for the game too. I have a question though, do you find the game interesting?
