Summer Learning Journey - Week 1 - Day 5 - Activity 3

New Zealand is a wonderful hometown to a population of 4.794 million people, but you never know that New Zealand will be sinked, by any time. Most countries like Indonesia have been sinked by many times. If this happens New Zealand will be wiped out and all the cities and buildings will be gone by 2032, says the National Researchers of New Zealand. What are some situations to this problem? What are we going to do? Is it too late? Not only is there floods and sinking buildings disappearing, but everything is being stuck into the ground. Not only are there buildings, but we have sailing boats everywhere. According to this problem it looks like everything is going to get worse and worse. On a day in New Zealand we would either run summer activities or relax in the shade and read a book. We would usually eat ice cream and ice block in summer, because of the hot day. Some people would go for a swim, while others go for bike riding in the basin.

This year Panmure Bridge School is lucky enough to participate in the Summer Learning Journey from 2018-2019. This is an opportunity for the Manaiakalani cluster school to join. For the Summer Learning Journey we are given tasks to finish. The people who place 1st, 2nd, and 3rd from each school wins exclusive prizes. The prizes this year is amazing. Above shows another place to stand activity that I completed for the Summer Learning Journey. To complete this activity I was to post a description of what life is like in New Zealand in 2018. I also remembered that the people who was reading my post will have never been to New Zealand or even seen a picture. I haven't created a image, but I used one and attributed it above.

  2. Hi Mele,
Great job on completing this activity! I liked how in your description you mentioned that in New Zealand when it's hot we can just sit under the shade and relax or read a book. Although, it's interesting that you say New Zealand will sink by 2032. Why do you all of the buildings and cities in New Zealand will be destroyed?

  3. Hi Mele!

This is a creative post! I like it a lot! I like how you have given a date and included the researchers in it. So tell me, w hat is the first thing you would do if you heard the news that we were going to sink? And which country would you move to instead?
I think I'd head to Japan, but in reality we don't have to worry at all.
I'll tell others about your post, well done!
