Today for this activity I had to write 2 things about stuff I did back in Wellington. I had been in Wellington lots of times but mostly in the Holidays.
1. I went to spend some Christmas there with my family members.
2. I went to one of the biggest parks in Wellington with my cousins.
Hi Mele,
ReplyDeleteYou are so lucky! I absolutely love Wellington and you were able to visit the city over Christmas time with your family. Lucky you!
It sounds like you had a nice time when you were in Welly. Which park did you visit with your cousins? When I go to Wellington I typically visit Cuba Street and go to Te Papa museum. I also spend time walking along the water front and driving up into the hills that line the coast(if it isn't too windy). Speaking of windy, I love the picture that you've posted of the Wellington sign blowing away. It is the perfect image to capture the wild weather that often strikes Wellington!
Keep up your great blogging, Mele. I can't believe that you are already on Day #3. Wow!
Cheers,
Rachel :)
Kia orana Mele,
ReplyDeleteThat's awesome you've been to Wellington so many times! Do you enjoy visiting there? How come you travel there so often?
I have a brother who lives down there, so I try to head down and visit as often as I can. I love the culture in Wellington, I think it's my favourite city in New Zealand. I'd love to live there one day! Although I do like the warmer climate up here in Auckland.. It gets pretty cold and windy down in Wellington sometimes.
Whenever I go to Wellington, I like to go to Te Papa, or find somewhere new to eat (they have lots of amazing restaurants and cafes). The last time I was there I went mountain biking out in Wainuiomata. It was pretty cold and wet, but still a lot of fun! Have you ever been mountain biking before?
Ka kite!
Dan.
