Sculpture

Today for inquiry we had to do a other must do for the inquiry column.we had to draw and sculpture our plane that we researched about. After I finished drawing the De Havilland Dh 60 Moth I had to research about the different parts of the plane. I learnt a lot about my plane but next time it would be better if we could learn more about migration.

  2. Hi Mele,

I really like the drawing that you made of the De Havilland Dh 60 Moth 1000e. It looks like a beautiful airplane! One of my best friends is actually an airline pilot. He flies the Airbus 777 for Air Canada. It's a pretty big airplane and he flies it all around the world!

If you are interested in flying and travel, please consider joining the Summer Learning Journey blogging programme. It is running from now until Friday 27 January and it includes 60 different activities for you to choose from. Each activity is related to the topic of travel and adventure.

To join the programme, simply hop onto the Summer Learning Journey website (https://sites.google.com/site/summerlearningjourney/welcome), click on the 'Weekly Activities' tab and choose from one of 60 different activities.

Once you have chosen an activity you post your answer to the activity on your blog site. I will check your blog site regularly and I will write comments on your posts! I have two teachers who are working with me this summer and they will read your posts and provide comments as well.

I really hope that you will consider blogging with us this holiday. We'd love to have you join the Summer Learning Journey team!

    Cheers,
Rachel (and the Summer Learning Journey programme team)
