This picture is of a rangoli pattern outside a home in India. Rangoli patterns are made from coloured rice flour and sand. The pretty colours encourage Goddess Lakshmi to come in to the house and brings luck, wealth and prosperity with her.
Today I did an article on Diwali. I was reading a information report about Diwali. I practiced answering some questions about a Diwali article. We are learning about information reports. In a information report they use these types of words timeless ( everyday) words, Technical words, and Impersonal words ( third person words).
