Winter Learning Journey-Matariki-17
For this other Winter Learning Journey I had to read about the Matariki Festival at Te Papa and choose my best three events. This is the three events I picked: Matariki Dawn-Special opening weekend
Hello Mele The events that are happening sound fun and interesting. I think the best one out of the ones you chose is the Special opening weekend. Keep up the amazing work. Daniel
Hello Mele, you have found some great Matariki events. They all sound like a lot of fun especially the balloon workshop event. Keep up the incredible work.
I like the sound of all three of the events that you chose! I am really curious about the 'Balloon workshop with zappo.' What does it involve? Do you get to learn how to make balloon animals? My son, Aronui, loves balloons. He is always asking me to blow them up for him so that he can play with them. His favourite thing to do is to try and keep the balloon from the hitting the floor. I think that his record is about 3 minutes. Do you ever play that game?
I hope that your first back at school is going well! I am looking forward to seeing you when I come into Panmure Bridge next week to hand out the certificates and prizes for the Winter Learning Journey programme!
