This year Panmure Bridge School is lucky enough to participate in the Summer Learning Journey from 2018-2019. This is an opportunity for the Manaiakalani cluster school to join. For the Summer Learning Journey we are given tasks to finish. The people who place 1st, 2nd, and 3rd from each school wins exclusive prizes. The prizes this year is amazing. Above shows another place to stand activity that I completed for the Summer Learning Journey. To complete this activity I was to watch a trailer based on unusual animals. After doing watching the trailer I was to create my own beast animal. I decided to create a lion head, a kangaroo body, and a unicorn horn. After creating my own animal I was to describe the looks about my animal, by using adjectives.
I am a Year 8 student at Panmure Bridge School in Auckland, NZ. I am in Learning Space 2 and my teacher is Mrs Anderson.

Hello Mele! You're beast is amazing and the meaning behind him is fantastic and very creative. I am so surprised at how much detail and thought you put into your beast. Kaliun is such a great mix name and I love the story behind his horn. You really set high standards even from the beginning of blogging. I hope you can keep working on those comments now, keep it up!
ReplyDeleteHello Mele,

Hi Mele,
ReplyDeleteGreat job on completing this activity! Your beast looks really good, and I liked how you said that its horn represents birth. I also liked how you joined the names of different animals together to for yours. What kind of food does your beast eat?
