Summer Learning Journey Activity 4 Week One
Today for this activity I had to compare the Wharepuni house to my house. On my blog I had to write down two similarities and two differences between a Wharepuni house and my house.
Differences:
This house has carving to it but my house doesn't.
A Wharepuni has a carving in the middle of their house but my one doesn't.
Similarities: Both houses have a door and windows. Both houses has a roof and walls.
Like you have said, the Wharepuni is similar to a house in that is has doors, windows, a roof and walls. But they also have traditional Maori carvings which make then unique.
Have you ever been to a Wharepuni? I think they are beautiful buildings. I hope you get a chance to visit one if you haven't already!
Greetings Mele Nice job on comparing the two buildings, I like how you said that a Wharepuni has a carving in the middle of it too. Does that also mean you've been inside of one?
Hello Mele Well done on finishing this summer learning journey activity. I like how you sorted the differences and similarities into two lists. Keep up the amazing work Mele. Daniel
