Badminton- Kiwisport
LI: To learn how to front hand serve using the lift serve. This week for badminton we learnt a different skill but with the same instructor- Kevin. The first thing we did was play a warm up game. The warm up game was octopus. In this game there was normally one person in the middle that was the tagger. The tagger in the middle needs to call someone and then that group/person needs to run to the other side. If you get tagged that means you will need to stand still on place and start swirling your arms and tag the others that is coming pass you. After that we did the same thing as last week. We had to get into pairs and start using our for hand to serve and you other buddy catches it. We had to do it 5 times each and then after that we did rally's. Always remember to put your leg that your using to hit with at the front and the other leg at the back. Our new skills was called the for hand lift. In this skill we had to use our for hand and then let our racket move backwards and then hit forward, we did this over a net with our buddy. Everyone practised it until Kevin said stop. The last thing we did was singles ins and outs. It was the same as the other game but this time is was 1 vs 1. 1 person had to verse the other person and the first one to get 1 point wins.
Greetings Mele, I did Kiwi Sport too. I like the way you explained things about what you did at Kiwi Sport. Did you had fun doing Kiwi Sport?
ReplyDeleteFantastic Work!
Hello Mele, I also went to Kiwi sport as well and I had such an amazing time. I like how you created your own learning intention which was very smart and I also liked your detailed description about what you did at kiwi sport and how it is all in order from the first thing you did, to the last thing you did.
ReplyDeleteWho was your buddy for the activities?
Keep up the superb work!
