Winter Learning Journey- No Girls Allowed
Today I did my Holiday reading challenge. In the article I read it said only mens participated in Olympic sport but women we're allowed to. I had to right why it is not fair on girls to not do anything in Olympics.
I completely agree with what you have written! I think that it is unfair that women were not allowed to compete in the ancient Olympic games. They deserved the same opportunity to show their friends and family members how well they could do and I am very disappointed to read that they weren't given the opportunity.
Fortunately, the modern day Olympic committee has changed the rules and allowed both men and women to compete. I am already getting excited about the upcoming Olympics and will look forward to watching both the men and the women participate in their respective sports.
Will you watch any of the upcoming Olympic games coverage on TV? It starts on 5 August.

Hi Mele
ReplyDeleteI think the no girls rule is very unfair. Everyone should be able to compete in the games. Keep up the awesome work.
